Itinerary
Day 1: Bienvenida a Guadalajara
Upon arrival, you'll be picked up from the airport and taken to our beautiful hotel in the heart of the city. We’ll kick off the trip with a welcome dinner on the rooftop terrace, the perfect spot to meet your fellow Amigas and take in the views of Guadalajara.
Airport arrival: Don Miguel Hidalgo (GDL) Please land ideally by 4:30pm so that you have enough time settle in to your hotel room and get ready for our welcome dinner at 7:30pm

Day 2: Tlaquepaque
Today we start with a walk through Guadalajara's iconic Centro Histórico, taking in the Templo Expiatorio, the grand Palacio de Gobierno, the Cathedral, and the UNESCO-recognized Hospicio Cabañas. We then make our way to the charming arts village of Tlaquepaque, where we stroll the Andador Independencia, browse galleries by world-renowned artists Sergio Bustamante and Rodo Padilla, and end the afternoon soaking in the vibrant energy of El Parián.

Day 3: Mazamitla
Today we start with a stop "Los Vampiritos" in San Luis Soyatlán to try the region's famous traditional drink before heading to Eco Parque Mundo Aventura, where adventure awaits with optional activities like zip-lining, horseback riding, hanging bridges, and ATV rides surrounded by stunning natural scenery. We then continue to Mazamitla Pueblo Mágico, a enchanting mountain town known for its cobblestone streets, alpine-style architecture, and lush forest setting, where we explore the local artisan market, the Parroquia San Cristóbal, and stroll the pedestrian walkway before heading back to Guadalajara.

Day 4: Chapala y Cantaritos el Guero
Today we start with a visit to the charming town of Chapala, where we explore the historic train station and soak in the stunning lakeside scenery and perfect climate along the Rivera. We then make our way to Amatitán, where since 1997 Cantaritos El Güero has been serving up the most authentic Jalisciense fiesta experience. We’ll enjoy lunch together, each with our very own cantarito, the region's beloved traditional drink served in a clay cup.

Day 5: Salud Amigas - Jose Cuervo
Today we board the iconic Jose Cuervo Express train for a one-of-a-kind journey to Tequila, Jalisco, enjoying an educational tasting guided by a tequila expert along the way. Upon arrival we explore Mundo Cuervo, including the Juan Beckmann Gallardo Cultural Center and the historic La Rojeña distillery, followed by free time to discover the Pueblo Mágico of Tequila and enjoy lunch. We wrap up this unforgettable day with a vibrant Mexican show, a visit to the agave fields to witness a live jimado demonstration, before boarding back to Guadalajara. We end our trip with our farewell dinner.

**Please note this trip will be in Spanglish but mainly Spanish. Our local guide understands and speaks Spanish but being this trip is in Mexico we will be accommodating to the local language.

*Price is set for double occupancy. If you have a friend you would like to roommate with please let us know. If not, I will match you with your new Amiga. You will share a room but have your own bed.
Cost $2,199 (secure your spot with $300)
To secure your spot, a non-refundable deposit of $300 is required. The remaining balance of $1,899 will be divided into 4 payments of $474.75. The first payment installment will be due on July 15, 2026, the second payment installment will be due on August 30, 2026, the third payment will be due on October 1, 2026 and the second payment installment will be due on December 15, 2026.

Hola, I'm Nely, born and raised in Mexico. My journey began with my first solo trip when I moved to the US. Since studying abroad in 2018, I've explored 18 countries, from Spain's vibrant streets to Switzerland's serene landscapes and Poland's rich history. I'm passionate about experiencing new cultures firsthand, believing it's incomparable to books or movies. I'm especially excited to travel with the you to Turkey, where we'll delve into its rich history and stunning landscapes.
