We’re heading from the lush rainforests of Sarapiquí to Costa Rica’s beautiful Caribbean coast for eight days of wildlife, culture, adventure, and plenty of pura vida. Think river safaris, sloths and monkeys, cacao and Afro-Caribbean cooking experiences, rainforest adventures, snorkeling, beach time, and a free day to enjoy the Caribbean at your own pace.

Itinerary
Day 1: Bienvenida a Costa Rica
Arrive to San Jose, Costa Rica (SJO). Airport Transfer and Hotel check in.
Ideally land before 4:30pm to give you time to check in and get ready for our amigas meet and greet and our welcome dinner.

Overnight stay in San Jose
Day 2: Sarapiqui
Today we’ll drive through the lush Braulio Carrillo mountains and into Costa Rica’s northern lowlands. Along the way, we’ll stop for breakfast at a beautiful restaurant with waterfall views and hummingbirds all around. We’ll then continue to Sarapiquí, check in, and settle into our hotel. Dinner is included this evening.

Day 3: River Safari & Cocoa Workshop
Start the day with a Sarapiquí River safari, where we may spot sloths, howler monkeys, caimans, colorful birds, and even river otters. In the afternoon, we’ll get hands-on with a cacao workshop, learning how chocolate is made from bean to bar and enjoying a tasting along the way. In the evening, amigas can join an optional guided frog walk to discover Costa Rica’s nighttime wildlife.

Day 4: Caribbean Cost
Start the morning with your choice of adventure: a guided walk through La Selva Biological Station, one of the world’s most studied tropical rainforests, or ziplining through the jungle. After lunch, we’ll say goodbye to Sarapiquí and make our way to Limón on Costa Rica’s Caribbean coast. Check in, enjoy some downtime, and catch the sunset on the beach before a free evening to explore and grab dinner on your own.

Day 5: Wildlife Walk and Cooking Experience
Today we’ll explore Cahuita National Park with a local guide, walking a flat coastal trail surrounded by wildlife like sloths, monkeys, colorful birds, and more. For lunch, we’ll join a hands-on Afro-Caribbean cooking experience with a local cook and enjoy the meal we prepare together. The evening is yours to relax, explore, or enjoy the beach at your own pace..

Day 6: Free Day
Enjoy a free day in Limón to relax on the beach, explore the area, or simply take the day at your own pace. Breakfast is included at the hotel, and the rest of the day is yours to enjoy however you’d like.

Day 7: Snorkeling and Back to San Jose
Start the morning with a snorkeling experience before returning to the hotel. After lunch, we’ll depart around 2:00 PM and make our way back to San José. Once we arrive, we’ll check in, get settled, and come together for our final dinner before departing the following morning.

Day 8: Hasta Pronto Amigas
It's not a "goodbye" it's a "see you later"
Your international flight can be scheduled to depart from SJO after 1:30pm since we take a group charter flight back to San Jose at 10am.

*Price is set for double occupancy. If you have an Amiga you would like to roommate with please let us know. If not, I will match you with your new Amiga. You will share a room but have your own bed.
Cost: $2,699 ($300 Non-Refundable Deposit Required)
To secure your spot, a non-refundable deposit of $300 is required. The remaining balance will be divided into 5 non-refundable payments. The payments are due on the following dates:
